Elymus lanceolatus ssp. psammophilus (Streambank wheatgrass))
Formerly Agropyron riparium. Cool season, drought tolerant, strongly rhizomatous sod-forming perennial, similar and closely related to Thickspike wheatgrass (E. lanceolatus ssp. lanceolatus), but occupies slightly wetter sites and is more productive in slightly heavier soils; less palatable.
